Mandatory requirements: PhD in areas related to forest resources, remote sensing, data science, or computing, obtained within a maximum of 7 years; application of machine learning and deep learning methods to remote sensing images; proficiency in programming (R, Python, or similar); ability to work collaboratively, including interaction with diverse stakeholders; excellent oral and written communication; good command of English.
Desirable requirements: Experience in LiDAR data processing and analysis; publications in scientific journals.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
