Postdoctoral Fellow - Alexander Lab
Position Description
The Alexander Lab seeks a highly-motivated postdoctoral researcher to independently drive research projects, collaborate across disciplines, and help foster an interactive and dynamic research community. Research in the Alexander Lab spans scales of biology as well as experimental and computational approaches. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in gene regulatory mechanisms, with a track record of creative research in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, imaging approaches and/or bioinformatics.
If selected for this position, you will be expected to:
- Develop and drive an independent research project in the general area of nuclear-speckle-based gene regulation with input and direction from Dr. Alexander
- Design and conduct scientifically rigorous experiments that address key open questions in the field of speckle biology
- Contribute to an intellectually stimulating and collaborative laboratory environment

Position Requirements
Ph.D. degree in a life science discipline. Preferred candidates will be within ~1 year of completing their Ph.D.
