In this rewarding role, you will work closely with schools, early childhood settings, academic staff, and students to facilitate high-quality professional experience placements that are essential to future educators’ success.

Reporting to the Manager – Education Placements, the Professional Experience Liaison Officer provides administrative and stakeholder support relating to teacher education placements. You will play a key role in coordinating student placements, responding to placement enquiries, and maintaining strong partnerships with education providers across the sector.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate professional experience placements for education students
• Build strong partnerships with schools and early childhood settings
• Support students and staff with placement-related enquiries
• Maintain accurate placement records and documentation
• Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality placement outcomes

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Knowledge of the school and/or early childhood sectors
• The ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using student administration and placement systems
• A collaborative, flexible approach to teamwork
• Previous teaching experience within the Australian education sector

Qualifications

A qualification relevant to Early Childhood or Primary Education.
