The Psychology Department at Stonehill College invites applicants for a term-renewable, Professor of Practice, Assistant Level, in Psychology to begin in July 2026. This position carries a non-tenure track status, but has a pathway for advancement and promotion. This is a full-time on-campus position, and a qualified candidate must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus. The selected candidate will deliver courses at the undergraduate level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The course load is 8 classes per academic year (i.e., 4 per semester) and may include Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Statistics, Research Methods, Cognitive Psychology, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of specialty. Advising and mentoring are also part of the essential duties.
Education & Experience
We seek applicants who have completed a Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in cognition.
