Professorship in "Finance" W/M/D
You will represent the finance subject area, focusing on company valuation, mergers & acquisitions and private equity, within the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes offered by our school. You will also teach additional courses in general business administration.
In teaching, you will design well-founded and practice-oriented courses and contribute to the further development of our financial management profile.
We also count on your commitment to expanding our research activities and strengthening our school through your own ideas and initiatives.
By delivering courses in English, you will support the university’s internationalisation strategy.
You are confident in creating digitised teaching arrangements.
Last but not least, you will take on responsibilities in self-government and make a constructive contribution to cooperative interaction at the school.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Your expertise is founded upon a relevant university degree and a recognised doctorate, ideally in business administration, finance, or a related subject area relating to capital markets or corporate financing.
In addition, you have several years of professional experience in company valuation, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance or transaction consulting, e.g. in an investment bank, the private equity sector, or the transaction department of an audit firm.
You have proven expertise in analysing, evaluating and structuring corporate transactions.
By getting involved in research and collaborative projects with enterprises, investors or financial institutions, you can expand your existing network and distinguish yourself with a high level of commitment, social skills and interdisciplinary cooperation.
