About You
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Centre’s projects and ensuring high-quality project outcomes. You will contribute to the effective delivery of project reports and deliverables, ensuring alignment with government requirements, College procedures and University policies.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with your line manager, academic staff and project team members, providing high-quality, accurate and timely administrative and project support. This includes project governance, planning, event support, documentation, and responding to complex project-related queries, as well as undertaking other tasks as required.
You will also help facilitate the sharing of knowledge and ensure that university, government and project policies and amendments are accurate and up to date at key publishing milestones. As Project Coordinator, you will contribute to positive cultural and work practice change in line with the College’s strategic directions, and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
You are someone who is agile and adaptable, confident in managing a range of projects and grant applications, able to work to tight deadlines, and comfortable responding to varied and changing project requirements.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
- Ability to coordinate a broad range of tasks, deliver high levels of customer service and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience delivering quality, compliant administrative processes to support management and academic (HE) staff with program quality requirements.
- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently while following relevant policies and procedures.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet conflicting deadlines as a flexible team member.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism, tact, discretion and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and implement new systems and procedures and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- High-level proficiency with information and communication technologies, including Office 365, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to new IT environments.
- Knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector is highly desirable.

About the Centre for Cyber Security and Innovation
The RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CCSRI) was established in 2020 within the College of Business and Law. The focus of CCSRI is to develop multi-disciplinary research relating to the organisational, human and technology aspects of Cyber Security.
The mission of the RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CCSRI) is to be
acknowledged as a world-class research centre in multi-disciplinary Cyber Security research and to be
