About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Recruitment Coordinator to join Curtin’s Global Student Recruitment team, supporting international recruitment across designated regions. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening Curtin’s presence in the market by supporting registered education agents and partner schools and helping to drive student recruitment outcomes across regions.
As the Regional Recruitment Coordinator, you will maintain close relationships with prospective students, partner institutions, and Curtin campuses to support student recruitment between institutions and locations. You will also contribute to the promotion of Curtin University to international audiences, ensuring student and partner institution information is accurate, current, and effectively maintained to support recruitment activity.
Reporting to the Regional Recruitment Manager, you will support the delivery of international recruitment operations, helping to connect future students with Curtin and supporting their journey from enquiry through to enrolment.
This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term position with a salary range of $96,323 – $102,186 (G06) per annum.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the identification and development of new market opportunities to drive international student recruitment and expansion across designated regions and faculties, under the guidance of senior recruitment staff.
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of recruitment and conversion plans for designated regions or faculties, ensuring alignment with the Global Recruitment Plan, Faculty strategies, and broader University, Regional, and Recruitment plans through regular consultation with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the monitoring and management of international education agents within allocated regions, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, KPIs, and established processes, and escalating issues or risks where appropriate.
- Contribute to the collection, analysis, and reporting of recruitment and conversion data, including preparing regular reports and insights on performance, outcomes, and emerging trends.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of international recruitment events, visits, and engagement activities, including providing logistical and on-the-ground support for international visitors and delegations.
Who we are looking for (selection criteria):
You will bring a strong mix of sector knowledge, relationship-building skills, and operational capability, including:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the international student recruitment industry, including relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, market dynamics, competitive environments, and contemporary trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders across cultures and backgrounds.
- Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience working with student recruitment or conversion data, including contributing to analysis, reporting, and insights to support decision-making.
Desirable Criteria:
- Conversational fluency in one or more languages other than English.
- Experience working within a tertiary education or higher education environment.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
