Job Summary
The College of Nursing is hiring for a Research Fellow I position. This role supports and conducts original research to include planning, maintaining or completing research programs and/or projects involved in the discovery of new knowledge, techniques, and concepts which require advanced level scientific/research knowledge, skills and abilities following relevant policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
Essential Functions
- Working with muscle models to identify the potential mechanism of chronic pain caused by myofascial pain symptoms.
- Performing clinical testing and with various study populations.
- Performing data analysis for large dataset.
- Supervising Graduate and Undergraduate Students.
- Sharing general house-keeping duties with other staff working in the office of Associate dean for research.
- Presenting data, current projects and results at internal seminars and at external meetings and conferences as required.
- Assisting in manuscript and grant writing.
- Following Auburn University health and safety policies and other rules as appropriate.

- PhD in a content specific area of research and 0 years of experience in research practices and protocols.
Minimum Skills and Abilities
- Possesses highly advanced knowledge in the field of research and the design of experiments, and has broad expert knowledge of complex equipment, materials and processes related to research planning, funding and operations.
- Possesses high level of knowledge and skill related to design of research and the analysis, presentation and publication of research findings.
