"Clinical Lab Supervisor 2- Corelab Irvine- FT Variable Shift"

Position Summary: The incumbent directly supervises laboratory technical and administrative functions for a distinct operational unit consisting of technologists who perform a wide variety of laboratory duties including but not limited to preanalytical processes and testing through data analysis and reporting; or technicians, assistants, phlebotomist and other staff who provide a wide range of laboratory support services; or a combination of both. Performs bench testing as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Two or more years applicable experience
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required
• Must be willing to testify in court regarding testing activities if subpoenaed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Current CA CLS License
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in supervision
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
