Research Grants and Finance Coordinator [Temporary Cover]
What you will be doing
- Manage the application process for research grants, ensuring compliance with funding body requirements.
- Oversee the financial administration of grants, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with researchers and administrative staff to provide guidance on grant management and financial policies.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of training and resources related to grant applications and financial management.
What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of research funding mechanisms and financial management.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using Worktribe as well as the Universities Oracle Finance System would be beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Previous experience in grant administration or finance in an academic setting is highly desirable.
