Research Specialist A/B (Pathobiology)

The individual in this position will work collaboratively with investigators within the Basser Immune-Intercept Initiative (BIII) to develop a pipeline to assess the immunogenicity of mRNA formulations for cancer interception.
Research Specialist A Job Responsibilities: Perform experiments to develop and validate a robust pipeline of assays (i.e., evaluate the inflammatory characteristics in vitro and assess induction of T cell responses in pre-clinical animal models) for the screening of candidate cancer interception mRNA formulations. Evaluate candidate formulations through the established pipeline. Analyze data generated from pipeline to determine inform further development of candidate formulations.
Research Specialist B Job Responsibilities: In addition to the above responsibilities, the individual in this position will perform assays with more independence.
Qualifications: Research Specialist A - Bachelor's degree and 0 to 1 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Research Specialist B - Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. This position is contingent upon grant funding.
