The Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive, engaging, and dynamic living-learning environment for students residing in our residence halls or apartment complexes. Reporting to the Associate Directors of Residential Education, the RHC is responsible for comprehensive leadership, direction, and management of a residential community housing 350 to 800 students, supported by a team of 8 to 22 Resident Advisors or Community Assistants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Student counseling and advising.
- Coordinating co-curricular educational initiatives.
- Handling crisis management.
- Overseeing judicial affairs, budget management, and the smooth operation of multimillion-dollar facilities.
This position includes living on-site in a furnished apartment within the residence hall or complex, with meals provided during active dining service periods.
