Position Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a RTS V within the Oral Biology Department at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the RTS V will perform experiments involving bacterial biofilm formation, bacterial pathogenesis, and molecular biology.

Key Duties:

• Performing laboratory experiments, utilizing standard techniques in microbiology and molecular biology.
• Assisting with experimentation and data analysis.
• Maintaining accurate records of experimentation and research and preparing reports. Reviewing selected literature relevant to research activities.
• Assisting in the maintenance of laboratory facilities, instruments, and supplies.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor degree in biology, molecular biology, microbiology, or a related discipline.
