Salesforce Admin II
Western Governors University is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce administration, who can manage platform configurations, support user needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
- Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permissions, and troubleshoot access issues.
- Model data using objects, fields, and relationships; maintain data quality through deduplication, validation rules, and audits; import/export data using tools like Data Loader and manage picklists.
- Perform regular data audits, deduplication, and ensure data quality across orgs.
- Implement field-level security, sharing rules, and org-wide defaults; monitor login history and audit trails.
- Build and maintain standard and custom reports and dashboards to support business insights using formulas, filters, and joined reports.
- Implement and maintain automation using Process Builder, Flow, and Approval Processes; optimize business processes and reduce manual work; collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Support sandbox refreshes, test case validations, and deployment coordination.
- Maintain system documentation and training materials for end-users.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) required; Advanced Admin (ADM-211) preferred.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Experience with data management tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security model and permission sets.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Maintain effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Self-starter with bias for action while maintaining stable, secure user experiences.
- Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent judgement.
- Lead platform development and support across enterprise content services and third-party integrations.
- Apply expert knowledge to ensure best practices and well-engineered architecture.
- Solve critical issues across multiple teams and initiate major process changes.
- Assess the impact of new requirements across upstream/downstream systems.
- Maintain a strong customer focus and be available for 24/7 on-call technical duties.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., APIs, SSO, Genesis chat systems).
- Knowledge of Salesforce event monitoring and analytics tools like Pendo or Adobe Analytics.
- Exposure to sandbox refresh processes and data masking.
- Understanding of distributed tracing and performance optimization.
