The School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University is seeking a proactive and customer focused School Officer (HEW 4) to join our Operations team. As a School Officer, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the smooth functioning of the School by delivering high quality front line administrative services to staff, students, and visitors.
In this diverse role, you will be the first point of contact for administrative enquiries, providing accurate information, guidance, and timely support. You will contribute to a wide range of school operations, including day to day administrative tasks, record keeping, staffing support, and minor project work. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skills by understudying colleagues, enabling you to support absence coverage and develop capabilities for future career growth.About you
We are seeking an organised, customer oriented professional who thrives in a busy administrative environment and enjoys supporting others. You will bring experience providing administrative support within a large or complex organisation, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
You are someone who takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient service and can exercise sound judgement when responding to enquiries or escalating issues. Your ability to plan, organise, and manage competing priorities will ensure you can deliver high quality outcomes while maintaining attention to detail.
You will also demonstrate a collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team culture, supporting colleagues, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
