Who you are
You are a collaborative, confident library professional, who brings sound judgement and a strategic mindset, translating this into effective collection management strategies for print, digital and electronic mediums. You are motivated by quality, impact and service excellence, and you are ready to influence how research and learning outputs are accessed, shared and preserved.
What you'll do
You will negotiate the procurement and licencing of scholarly content, utilising effective communication skills. You will ensure the correct processing of licences, quotes and renewal are undertaken.
Over your first 6–12 months, you will help improve the utilization of the Library’s collections, including open access resources and position the Library as a trusted partner in research and learning. Your work will have visible impact - supporting researchers, educators and students, elevating the University’s research profile, and creating opportunities to innovate, lead initiatives and grow your professional influence.
What will help you succeed
Your ability to collaborate with others, managing team productivity and harness your problem solving skills to provide positive outcomes for UniSQ will be imperative. Demonstrated experience with collections and information resources and advanced knowledge of emerging technologies and systems will be highly desirable.
A degree that is recognised as eligible for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association, paired with at least four years experience in a Library environment is an essential requirements for this position.

Salary: Total remuneration range $119,378 to $132,004 pa (includes salary range of $100,677 to $111,325 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
