As a Senior Associate at Asialink Business, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategy and research projects that empower Australian organisations to access opportunities in Asia. You will work in dynamic project teams, conducting research, forming recommendations, and developing impactful reports and information products. Your role will involve supporting larger projects and managing smaller ones, providing you with a unique opportunity to enhance your project management skills and support Australian businesses to succeed in Asian markets.
- Deliver market-leading strategy and advisory projects: Apply strategy consulting skills to support project planning, stakeholder management, conduct research, interviews and analysis, and form recommendations.
- Develop public reports and thought leadership: Contribute to flagship thought leadership reports on trade and investment opportunities and managing geopolitics in Asia targeted at a business audience.
- Manage diverse projects: Lead work streams on larger engagements and oversee smaller projects with team leadership.
- Drive business development: Manage proposal materials and conduct supporting research for new opportunities.
You have a passion for Asia engagement and previous experience in consulting or advisory roles, leveraging your structured problem-solving skills and interpersonal expertise to deliver impactful outcomes for diverse stakeholders.
- Possess 2-3 years' experience in strategy or commercial consulting, Asia-focused research or a government role focused on trade and investment.
- Exhibit strong quantitative analysis skills and interpret complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Have experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing projects end-to-end.
- Interest in Asian business, political, and cultural issues.
- Have a degree in economics, business, Asian studies, international relations, public policy, or a related field.
