Senior Buyer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the purchasing agent for all divisions of Facilities Management.
- Review requisitions
- Prepare solicitations
- Review and edit contracts
- Ensure compliance with all state procurement rules
Minimum Experience / Education:
- Four-year degree from an accredited institution;
- Two-year degree and at least four years of procurement-related experience; or an
- Equivalent combination of education and procurement-related work experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
- Associates Degree and four (4) years of procurement experience needed; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Contract review training or certification.
- Construction procurement experience.
- Knowledge of public higher education or governmental procurement practices.
