Senior Program Coordinator
Position Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for The Graduate School of Education.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Oversees Expanding and Diversifying Pathways to Teaching, an initiative aimed at increasing the diversity and number of teacher candidates by developing revenue-generating and sustainable projects that advance student success, community engagement, and scholarly leadership within the GSE.
- Works with the GSE Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to develop strategic priorities and will be a key contributor for organizational planning and priority setting.
- Develops and maintains processes for goal setting and project management.
- Analyzes the needs of the unit to inform and prioritize decisions.
- Develops and coordinates a school-wide approach to communication with, and coordination of, community partners who work with the academic programs, specifically those in designated community-engaged courses.
- Entails project event management, materials, and communicating with several external partners and internal instructors.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic setting; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
