Social Media Student Assistant - Federal Work Study
Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
- Create engaging multimedia content (graphics, short videos, captions) aligned with departmental goals
- Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement; respond appropriately or escalate when necessary
- Track and report basic analytics (reach, engagement, follower growth) to evaluate content performance
- Support promotion of events, programs, and initiatives
- Ensure all content aligns with university branding and communication guidelines
- Collaborate with faculty/staff on campaigns and storytelling initiatives
