Sr Financial Reporting Advisor

Temporary Position Summary

Provides consultation and guidance to the Principal Accountant regarding the preparation and analysis of complex financial reports to include audit ready financial statements; Provides direction and advise regarding communication with auditors; Reviews and financial reports prior to delivery of drafts to auditors

Temporary Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review and Edit complex financial statements and reports: This includes balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, FASB,etc)

Provide consultation and guidance to senior and mid level management regarding financial reports and audit

Assist with technical audit research as needed

Required Qualifications

CPA required; MBA required; minimum 7 years experience; Experience with higher education and Ellucian

Certifications, Licenses, Restrictions

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required and MBA required

Full Time/Part Time: Part-time
