StatML CDT Administrator
The Department of Statistics is seeking to appoint a StatML CDT Administrator.
The EPSRC CDT in Statistics and Machine Learning (StatML) is a four-year PhD/DPhil research programme. It trains the next generation of researchers in statistics and machine learning, who develop widely-applicable novel methodology and theory and create application-specific methods, leading to breakthroughs in real-world problems in government, medicine, industry and science. The programme is run jointly with Imperial College London, and is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), with additional support from within the Universities.
The postholder will join the team based at the Department of Statistics, and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Centre for Doctoral Training, including but not limited to financial administration, academic administration, events planning and management, and record-keeping. They will work in close collaboration with their counterpart at Imperial.
You will have good first degree or equivalent experience and experience of financial management. You will also have experience of planning and delivering a range of events and/or training activities, including development, planning, delivery, and evaluation. Experience of working in a higher education environment is a desirable.
