Position Summary
The International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) at Columbia University is seeking a Student Admin Worker to support its Compliance Team. This role involves assisting with immigration document review, currency conversions, data entry, and other administrative support tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Review and process immigration-related documents.
- Perform currency conversions and ensure data accuracy.
- Enter and manage data within office systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the Compliance Team as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and database tools is a plus.
- Motivated, tech-savvy, positive, and independent work style.
Work Schedule
- Spring and Fall Semesters: 8–20 hours per week.
- Summer Term: 30–40 hours per week.
- Work hours are flexible but must fall within Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST).
