Pay:

• $15/hour

Sample Projects You Might Work On:

• Tutor K–8 students in reading and math during or after school hours
• Support after-school enrichment programs (STEM, arts, recreation)
• Assist with family literacy nights and reading circles at local schools
• Mentor students in social-emotional learning activities

• Boys & Girls Clubs – leading youth development programs
• YMCA of NWI- leading youth development programs
• Lutheran School Corporation of Indiana - supporting academic success (tutoring)

• Hammond Public Library – tutoring, reading with K-5 students

Location

Various school and community sites across NWI

When meeting with sites, you can provide preference on locations.

• Boys and Girls Club Locations (Transportation Required)
• YMCA Locations (Transportation Required)
• Communities in Schools Location - look at top 5 on list (Transportation Required)
• The Challenger on PNW’s Campus

Schedule

• Flexible shifts available during school hours and after school.

Education
