Reading and analysis of works from different fields or literary genres, whose subjects are still topical and likely to shed light on contemporary situations and debates. Practice of the text through writing exercises: summary, summary report. Solving the most common grammatical errors.
This section is given in hybrid face-to-face mode, with a weekly classroom session. It is distinct from the other sections offered in virtual hybrid or face-to-face mode.
The course plan (readings, session structure, exercises, assignments, exams) is predetermined. Professors teaching this course should use the Brightspace "toolkit" developed by the Department and TLSS. Professors are responsible for part of the correction (according to the established rules), for supervising the correction carried out by the teaching assistants, for supervising the assistants in the context of the invigilation of exams. Professors will have to perform usual tasks (preparation of Powerpoint, explanatory documents, answer keys and participate in the discussions of the coordination team, etc.).
The course requires good skills to work in collaboration with the entire teaching team in a context where deadlines can be very tight.
Certain communication and teaching tools are preferred (TEAMS, Microsoft Outlook, ZOOM, Brigthspace, EXCEL... etc) and requires an acquired skill or the will to acquire them. Professors must be on site since the course is given in hybrid face-to-face mode, which means that at least half of the sessions will be given in person.

Requirements:
Doctorate in French literature or in an equivalent field, have already given at least one literature course.
