Temporary employees provide short-term support to various departments at Seattle University. Temporary positions are often administrative support roles; however, there is occasional need for professional-level or specialized temporary positions as well. Qualifications

Most roles in the temporary pool require a high school diploma and three or more years of progressive clerical or office support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

Some roles may require a bachelor's degree. Previous experience working in higher education is a plus. Depending on the role, preferred candidates will possess the following highly desirable qualifications and skills: excellent communication and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows; and experience with various university systems. Compensation at a Glance

Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.
