Temporary Help Recycling Tech Assistant

This position aids in developing and implementing the Recycling Surplus and Solid Waste (RSSW) programs to minimize waste production and manage costs.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with maintaining cardboard and single stream pickup routes.
- Maintaining records of overall types and weights of materials leaving the university
- Assisting with managing and oversight of the solid waste program
- Working with the Environmental Health & Safety Office (EHS) to determine, reduce and divert hazardous waste
- Operating and monitoring a variety of warehouse and inventory equipment
- Attending meetings and training sessions to keep current on program changes, surplus and solid waste technologies, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
