Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Management
Job Summary
The Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for one full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Management with a focus in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior and able to teach undergraduate and graduate Organizational Behavior and Human Resources.
The position starts in Fall 2026 and the salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Priority application deadline is Friday, September 30, 2025, but review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mainly undergraduate courses with a mix of face-to-face and online delivery.
- Maintain regular on-campus presence.
- Attend departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or D.B.A. (ABD candidates close to completion will be considered) in Management with a concentration in Organizational Behavior or Human Resources or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional and academic experience.
- Maintain a well-defined research stream in OB and/or HR and have the potential to publish in high quality outlets, as defined in Soules College of Business' journal requirements.
- Ability to deliver courses including undergraduate and graduate Organizational Behavior and Human Resources.
