DePaul University Speech Language Pathology Program invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Clinical Professor to begin January 1, 2026. This exciting opportunity comes as the program resides within the newly formed Department of Rehabilitative Sciences and Professions (RSP), offering a unique chance to shape the future of RSP and contribute to DePaul University’s mission of academic excellence.

This 12-month appointment includes classroom instruction, clinical supervision of graduate students, and service contributions to the program and university. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to bilingual speech-language pathology and possess clinical experience with pediatric and/or adult populations. To support the DePaul University SLP Bilingual English Spanish Specialization Certificate (BESSC), the candidate must be proficient in both English and Spanish clinical practice. Additional administrative opportunities within the BESSC program are available for candidates with experience and interest.

About the College: The College of Science and Health is the third largest college at DePaul, enrolling over 3,000 students. The college includes departments/schools of biological sciences, chemistry and biochemistry, environmental science and studies, health sciences, mathematical sciences, neuroscience, nursing, physics and astrophysics, psychology, and rehabilitative sciences and professions. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Master of Science or Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); Bilingual (English and Spanish); Licensure, or eligible for licensure, from the State of Illinois; Experience supervising speech language pathology students (Graduate level or CF students). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Speech Language Pathology or related field; A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the field of speech language pathology; College or graduate level teaching experience (Or clinical teaching in school or medical settings).
