Salary Range: Minimum of $45,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Third Party Billing Coordinator performs billing and reconciliations involving third-party billing and accounts.
Core Responsibilities
- Provides customer service through billing and collections of third-party vendors. Exercises independent thought and judgment over non-routine accounting problems.
- Sets up and maintain contracts in Banner.
- Scans all employer-provided financial authorization and tuition assistance forms to Xtender and apply to student accounts.
- Directs invoicing of vendors and military agencies; applying payments to vendor accounts, monthly reconciliations, student chargebacks, and processing refunds.
- Maintains collections on past-due vendor accounts.
- Maintains monthly reports.
- Provides customer service to all third-party vendors and students.
- Performs end-of-year reconciliation and distribution of third-party receivables.
- Plans and schedules quarterly departmental team training meetings.
- Assists in overseeing the scanning/indexing of checks to Receivables Edge for deposit to the JPMorgan Chase account.
- Assists in overseeing the Fiscal Account Specialist.
- Assists as liaison with students and university departments.
- Assists in scheduling coverage times for customer service windows.
- Acts as backup for Fiscal Account Specialist and various back-office duties, as needed.
- Promotes an environment of safety and protection by working safely; immediately reporting unsafe situations, spills, and accidents; following University safety plans/procedures/protocols; and participating in appropriate safety training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Two (2) years of experience with third-party billing/invoicing.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered on a one for one basis
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
- Office environment.
- Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will work both on UT San Antonio Downtown campus and remotely in Texas. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
This position is contingent upon a successful background check. Verification of a valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be completed as applicable. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.
