The School of Dentistry is seeking a Training Lead to join our Dental Informatics team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of IT Programs, you will lead urgent, end-user training efforts for Epic and related systems that are currently supporting readiness for clinical care, teaching and learning, research, and administrative operations across the School of Dentistry. You will work closely with the CIO and school leadership on training strategy, governance, and immediate readiness needs, helping shape the approach to end-user training while coordinating with stakeholders across the School. You will also deliver role-based training, develop and maintain learning resources, partner with stakeholders, and use data to continuously improve training effectiveness and adoption.
You will work fully onsite at the School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, MI, between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional evening or Saturday support may be required.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, instructional design/technology, healthcare informatics, information systems) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering training for complex systems, ideally in healthcare, higher education, or other settings strictly monitored by government agencies, licensing boards, or accrediting organizations
- Demonstrated experience training end users on EHR/ERP or comparable enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience adapting vendor materials into local, workflow-based training.
- Demonstrated experience with technology-enabled learning (e.g., LMS, online modules, multimedia, simulations).
- Demonstrated instructional design skills (needs assessment, learning objectives, evaluation/assessment).
Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Clinics may operate until 7:30 p.m. one to two evenings per week and occasionally on Saturdays. System upgrades, critical fixes, and maintenance are performed outside of normal business hours, and this role may require flexibility during upgrade cycles and go-lives.
