This is a two-year, full-time leadership development fellowship where you’ll complete a flagship project from problem diagnosis through implementation, all while contributing to USC’s mission of expanding student success.

Required Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 3–8 years of relevant work experience with a record of success in academic and professional settings.
- Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to engage senior leaders in a professional, mature, and humble manner.
- Exceptional project management skills with the flexibility to pivot, adapt, and drive results both independently and in teams.
- Creative problem-solver who thinks strategically, iterates quickly, and connects diverse people, projects, and goals.
- Excellent communication skills with the energy and motivation to inspire others and advance student success.
- Deep commitment to transforming public higher education to better serve low-income, first-generation, and historically underrepresented students.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- The position requires knowledge of higher education systems, student success initiatives, and equity-focused practices, as well as policy research, program evaluation, and evidence-based strategies, including process mapping and design thinking.
- The incumbent must possess strong skills in written and verbal communication, project management, data analysis, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- The role requires the ability to engage senior leaders with professionalism, exercise strategic thinking, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage projects from conception through implementation.
- A demonstrated commitment to advancing equity for low-income, first-generation, and historically underrepresented students, along with the ability to motivate and inspire others to support student success, is essential.
