Reporting to the Assistant Dean, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address different learning styles and ensure that students successfully meet the course objectives and outcomes. Adjunct faculty also incorporate learning centered principles and concepts and motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational experience. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for student evaluation as well as timely and accurate reporting such as attendance verification, academic progress, and final course grades. They also provide leadership in program promotion as well as support student success initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree or relevant ASE Certification(s) with 4000 hours of work related experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous classroom experience.
Recent industry experience.
Experience teaching traditionally underserved populations.
Experience in teaching in multiple instructional modalities.
Experience in utilizing Learning Management Systems.
