Position Summary
The Advanced Manufacturing Coordinator will report to the Executive Director of DWED and is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of advanced manufacturing programs within CSN's Division of Workforce and Economic Development (DWED). This role focuses on providing some instruction and on creating specialized training programs that address the evolving needs of the advanced manufacturing industry, building pathways from non-credit to credit programs, and providing leadership to ensure the success of advanced manufacturing initiatives. This position requires a dynamic and adaptable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about workforce development and advanced manufacturing. The Advanced Manufacturing Coordinator will report to the Executive Director within DWED.- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in integrating non-credit and credit-bearing programs.
- Familiarity with instructional technologies and virtual learning platforms.
- Proficiency in the use of a personal computer and current software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to make decisions and take actions independently in a variety of diverse situations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, education, or a related field; OR equivalent experience in the field.
- 3 years of experience in program development and management, particularly in workforce training or advanced manufacturing.
- Contingent upon ongoing available funding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in advanced manufacturing, industrial technology, education, or a related field.
- 4 or more years of experience in program development and management, particularly in workforce training or advanced manufacturing.
Salary Information
Administrative Faculty C - The starting salary is $68,063. *This position is contingent upon ongoing and available funding*Exempt
