Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Villanova University invites applications for a tenure track position in Mathematics with the rank of Assistant Professor. The position begins in August 2026. The teaching load is 12 credits for the first year, with a standard load of 15 credits per year thereafter. Candidates from all areas of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and related fields, such as Operations Research and Mathematical Physics, are invited to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a research program in your area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or related field (or near completion).

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable commitment to excellence in teaching, as evidenced in the Statement of Teaching Philosophy.
• Demonstrable commitment to excellence in research, as evidenced in the Statement of Research Interests.
