"Research Coordinator"

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Coordinator for the department of Psychiatry at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, oversees the implementation of multiple research studies relating to the mental health and substance use of New Jersey residents. These studies primarily focus on the treatment needs of individuals with Substance Use disorders and are done in Substance abuse treatment settings. The position involves assisting in overseeing study protocols, analyzing study data, and preparing final reports for the funding agency.

Key Duties:

• Coordinates and administers protocols for conducting a series of multiple research studies relating to the chronic pain, mental health, and the use/misuse of drugs.
• Interacts with study participants and coordinates or implements study interventions.
• Assists in the preparation of study reports to funding agencies.
• Oversees the collection of data, data entry and the development of data files. Oversees the work of research assistants and student assistants.
• Oversees the development of computerized surveys in REDCap.
• Assures timely responses to study inquiries.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree plus three (3) years of experience in similar activities in scientific research, or a Master's Degree plus two (2) years of experience as indicated. Equivalent experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements.
