This Program Manager position supports the School of Continuing Education (SCE) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee by engaging with employers to identify training needs, collaborating with partners to expand courses in areas like Project Management and Agile, and organizing events such as the Women Leaders Conference.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage programs in project management, agile, scrum, technology, and conferences; build relationships with businesses in technology, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.
• Oversee daily program details including instructor contracts, enrollment, and logistics.
• Meet with participants to discuss training needs and career goals.
• Strategize and manage the annual Women Leaders Conference, including securing sponsorships.
• Identify training gaps and develop new courses for in-demand jobs; recruit and coach instructors.
• Collaborate on training proposals and monitor enrollments and budgets.
• Assess and evaluate program relevance and make necessary changes.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor budgets and develop operating policies.
• Supervise strategic planning initiatives and employees.
• Provide input on new program designs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Three years of relevant experience in business, project management, and conference coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in business development, technology, and marketing.
• Master's degree or certification in related fields.
• Experience in higher education and online technologies.

Compensation: Hiring range of $54,000 to $58,000 annually.
