Position Summary

This position supports the academic and experiential advising initiatives associated with the Trinity Plus curriculum and is a core member of the Advising Center team. Supports the center and its staff and facilitates the implementation of a dynamic set of programs and initiatives, including the coordination and evaluation of co-curricular credit for internships and other credit-bearing co-curricular opportunities. Manages office logistics, including the budget and office communications. Designs and updates office materials, compiles data, and maintains websites. Opportunity to work with students and support their academic journeys.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports Center for Academic and Experiential Advising operations and program implementation. Provides general office and budget management.
- Develops materials for the office and keeps them up to date, maintains the website and regularly reviews it for accuracy, and complies data related to advising and Trinity Plus.
- Assists student advising process by managing emails and proactively responding to student needs while helping to connect them to resources on campus.
- Serves as coordinator of co-curricular credit for internships, in close collaboration with the Center for Career and Life Design. Completes student performance evaluations, facilitating online Moodle course and overall student experience, and provides grade recommendations to overseeing faculty. Potential to evaluate other co-curricular credit-bearing opportunities.
- Supports implementation of other initiatives related to the Trinity Plus curriculum including Experiential Certificate program management and administrative aspects of summer research.
- Assists academic advising by supporting content-specific workshops, academic expos, and faculty partnerships.
- Working with faculty, provides operational support for group advising sessions for incoming traditional, transfer, and IDP as part of the Starting Out Process. Communicates via email and telephone with members of the incoming class and parents.
- Supports intersession credit-bearing offerings as needed, working with the academic dean for curriculum, academic departments, the Registrar’s Office, and other offices.
- Fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
