Dining Service Associate (12:30pm–9:00pm, Tues-Sat)
Description of Work:
The Dining Associate is a key position within University Dining Services.
As a Dining Service Associate, you will perform tasks in multiple areas/functions within the Dining Center, such as:
- Perform kitchen duties; including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling recipes.
- Set up and tear down stations
- Dish machine operations.
- Build recipes based on established processes, procedures, guidelines, and recipes.
- Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste.
- Assist within other areas as needed and other duties assigned.
- This position is considered essential and may have weekend or evening shifts.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School education plus one year of experience in a work environment required; equivalency considered. Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary. Flexibility, ability to communicate and being a team player essential. Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
