Job Description:

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, salaried, 12-month, Director of Auxiliary Programs and Services in the Dean of Students department. This administrative position reports to the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students.

The Director of Auxiliary Programs and Services serves as the primary liaison between the College and it's auxiliary services and contracted vendors. The incumbent is responsible for the administration and oversight of all auxiliary programs and service operations in food services, Ice Center, bookstore, child care, vending, and coordination of the Faculty-Student Association (F-SA) Board. These programs and services have a significant impact on the entire college community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in auxiliary management, small business, human resources, and/or retail operations.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience. Preferably in a higher education setting, including grant writing, contract operations, not-for-profit board management, and knowledge of current auxiliary services trends.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.

Additional Information:

The minimum annual salary for this position is $75,197. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
