Job Summary / Basic Function:

Job Summary: The ERP System Support Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the implementation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of integrated enterprise applications. The position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This is an exempt, staff position reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications. This position will be paid by LSCO and will work primarily in Orange, TX at the LSCO campus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive and work incidents and service requests submitted by users for multiple applications
  • Work on projects as designated by the Director of Enterprise Applications or as needed with other departments
  • Configure, maintain, and support multiple applications
  • Assign application security for multiple applications
  • Work with third party vendors on configuration, integration, and data issues
  • Configure Banner printers
  • May be required to travel to work related conferences, in and out of state
  • Performs other related tasks, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming, networking, or supporting enterprise applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
  • Knowledge of networking
  • Knowledge of SFTP and SSH
  • Knowledge of SSO
  • Knowledge of VPN
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree with a major or course work in computer science or management information systems
  • Experience with using a help desk ticketing application
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner and related applications
  • Experience with UC4 Automic job scheduler
  • Experience with Evisions applications
  • Experience with UNIX and/or PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Oracle SQL

Salary:

55,000-58,000
