Executive Assistant
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT, MIT's Vice President and General Counsel (VPGC), to provide executive level administrative support; manage the VPGC's demanding and complex schedule; manage multiple assignments and use independent judgment in decision making to accomplish tasks that can be urgent, confidential and sensitive in nature; collaborate with colleagues supporting the Institute's senior academic and administrative leadership; and provide support in a demanding but collegial environment.

REQUIRED: High School diploma and a minimum of seven years of experience as an executive assistant; excellent organizational, time management, project management, writing, proofreading, and communication skills; excellent attention to detail; extensive experience with complex calendar management; experience dealing with highly confidential matters; ability to multitask and work well under pressure; ability to troubleshoot, anticipate, and meet strict deadlines; advanced-level computer skills; and experience with document management systems. The OGC works on a hybrid schedule. This position requires flexibility in hours and in-office days as required by the VPGC. Occasional evening, early morning, and/or weekend hours may also be necessary.
