Why your role matters

The Project Officer provides essential support to the Director of Transformation and project teams within the EPMO. Key responsibilities include managing deliverables, budget reporting, communications, stakeholder relationships, and compliance. Additionally, the role oversees event coordination, SharePoint resources, and procurement tasks.

Reporting to the Director of Transformation and EPMO, the position involves no direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive and administrative support to the Director and EPMO Leadership to ensure project deadlines and strategic goals are met.
  • Advise on project delivery and collaborate with leadership to adjust priorities and resources as needed to maintain program objectives.
  • Coordinate high-level meetings, workshops, and townhalls, including agenda development, minute taking, and action tracking.
  • Manage EPMO SharePoint resources and procurement processes, including vendor communications and documentation.
  • Build stakeholder relationships and deliver targeted communications across various divisions and senior leadership groups.
  • Monitor EPMO budget expenditure, facilitate financial reporting, and track action items resulting from internal audits.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on deliverable accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with strict confidentiality and sound professional judgment.
  • Extensive experience engaging and managing requirements for senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize high-volume workloads and meet deadlines within complex environments.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while upholding organizational values and safety standards.
