Executive Entrepreneur in Residence
EXECUTIVE ENTREPRENEUR IN RESIDENCE (XEIR), Executive Degree Programs, will leverage a strong academic background combined with hands-on experience in technology/innovation driven startups to guide and mentor EMBA students interested in entrepreneurship; help connect students to entrepreneurial resources at MIT Sloan, MIT at large, and the broader innovation ecosystem; co-lead a half-semester entrepreneurship course; represent MIT and its entrepreneurship education initiatives, working with staff, the Career Development Office, and various MIT centers such as the Martin Trust Center and the Engine. Responsibilities span program design, student and alumni mentorship, and cross-campus collaboration.

REQUIRED: Master's degree; a minimum of five years of industry experience with entrepreneurial experience in one or more technology/innovation driven enterprises; experience in a business start-up or as a founder; a minimum 3 years of teaching experience in higher education leading and teaching your own course; interest in innovation and entrepreneurship and experience in multiple business start-ups as a founder or early employee; and willingness to openly share successes and failures with students in the educational process.
Must be willing to work on average 5 evenings (for teaching) and an average 5 weekend days when students are on campus.
