Job Description Summary

To provide administrative and financial support to the departments of Penn Global (Penn Abroad, ISSS, Global Initiatives, Perry World House, Penn Washington etc.). Coordinate all transactions related to financial operations and support business office procedures through timely and accurate processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process all financial transactions for the departments of Penn Global including procurement, reimbursements, and payroll.
  • Exercise resource stewardship to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures. Reinforce policy and proper procedures to department contacts. Respond to requests for information or services from faculty, staff and students.
  • Manage accounts and financial data necessary for reporting.
  • Serve as primary contact to outside vendors and remain current to all University financial policies.

Qualifications

  • High School Grad/GE Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Bachelors degree, 1-2 years of directly relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (e.g., Workday, Concur, or similar ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with procurement, reimbursements, and payroll processes.
  • Understanding of financial policies, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with budget tracking and financial reporting.

Pay Range

$21.15 - $23.00 Hourly Rate. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level. Internal organization and peer data at Penn are also considered.
