"Flight Simulator Training Technician - Aviation"

The Technology Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Flight Simulator Instructors. These instructors will support classroom teaching by providing simulator flight training on single-engine and multi-engine general aviation aircraft. The successful candidate will utilize simulator lessons to reinforce classroom material learned in private pilot, instrument, and commercial ground school courses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license
• Demonstrated experience working with staff and students from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a current Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) license
• At least 100 hours of pilot instruction as a CFI
