GSB Faculty Positions in Operations, Information and Technology 2025-2026
The Operations, Information, and Technology (OIT) area at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, is seeking qualified applicants for full-time, tenure-track positions, starting September 1, 2026. All ranks and relevant disciplines will be considered. Applicants are considered in all areas of Operations, Information, and Technology (OIT), including the management of service and manufacturing systems, supply and transportation networks, information systems/technology, energy systems, and other systems wherein people interact with technology, markets, and the environment. Applicants are expected to have rigorous training in management science, operations research, engineering, computer science, economics, and/or statistical modeling methodologies. Candidates with strong empirical training in economics, behavioral science or computer science are encouraged to apply. The appointee will be expected to do innovative research in the OIT field, to participate in the school's PhD program, and to teach both required and elective courses in the MBA program. Junior applicants should have or expect to complete a PhD by September 1, 2026.

The expected base pay range for this position is: Assistant Professor: $215,000 - $225,000; Associate Professor: $235,000 - $270,000; Full Professor: $330,000 - $395,000. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good-faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
