About This Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity within the Student Enrichment and Success (SES) Division for a Manager, Transition leading innovative, student-centred initiatives that shape UQ’s first student experiences and set the tone for their journey at UQ.

You’ll drive programs that strengthen academic readiness, foster connection and belonging, promote career development, and support wellbeing, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive student community from day one. You will also bring together stakeholders across UQ, creating a cohesive and holistic approach to orientation across all campuses, and supporting students to confidently navigate transitions toward, into, through, and beyond university life.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a team to deliver consistent, evidence-informed transition and onboarding programs
• Reviewing, evaluating and reporting on the impact and effectiveness of transition initiatives to inform continuous improvement
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to operationalise UQ’s transition framework and ensure an accessible, inclusive program design
• Driving the development of high-quality physical and digital transition resources that respond to the evolving needs of a diverse student cohort
