Mathematics Student Research Assistant - Federal Work Study
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Mathematics department on the Gainesville campus. Student assistant for research project titled "Belonging in the Classroom: Academic Micro-Communities and Sense of Belonging among First-Generation Students at UNG."
Responsibilities
- Student will assist in collection, organization, and analysis of data for research project.
- Student may be requested to transcribe interview data, identify qualitative and quantitative variables, organize data according to these markers, and analyze results using statistical methods.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Punctuality and professionalism requested.
- Organizational and analytical skills preferred.
- No prior knowledge is necessary but having passed Math 1401 would be a plus.
Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
