These roles will focus on the Employee Experience Transformation Program, joining the project team of the Academic Experience stream of work. You bring innovative thinking and a strong understanding of contemporary OD, capability and engagement practices, and are motivated by building individual, team and whole-of-workforce capability and culture. You understand how strong employee experiences support attraction, retention and performance, and you are comfortable translating strategic intent into practical, high-quality initiatives.

You will plan, coordinate and facilitate impactful capability development and engagement experiences, using a range of methods to ensure programs are engaging, effective and deliver measurable value. You thrive in collaborative environments and work closely with colleagues across the Capability & Employee Experience team, the broader People and Culture portfolio, and senior stakeholders across the organisation to support and advance RMIT’s people and culture agenda.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have as a minimum:

Demonstrated experience in a senior organisational development consulting role within a complex environment.

Proven project management with strong research and analytical skills, including experience in leading and coordinating complex processes and planning implementations at individual, team, and functional levels.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in human centred design and creative thinking to deliver quality OD consultancy and solutions that support RMIT across all organisational levels.

Proven ability to be agile, customer focused and build collaborative partnerships with all levels of leadership and stakeholders. Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to use data to inform OD initiatives.

Experience in leading change management, developing and communicating compelling change narratives, and diagnosing barriers to change.

Proven ability to listen to customers and build deep understanding of specific stakeholder experiences and needs.

Demonstrated experience in Higher Education, specifically on projects focused on employee experience and/or the academic workforce is highly desirable but not essential.

Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
